Brian Setzer brought his unique orchestra full of rockabillies to the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on Sunday, December 9th, 2012. It was a sold out show and the crowd was eager to get in the Christmas swing! He kicked off the show with "Dig That Crazy Santa Claus" and continued to play both Christmas favorites from his Orchestra projects as well as gems from his solo and Stray Cats catalog. Songs like "Stray Cat Strut", "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" (including the Grinch running around on stage), "Jump, Jive & Wail", "Sexy & 17", "Nutcracker Suite" and so many more were met with enthusiasm from the festive crowd. One of my favorite moments was when he brought the upright bass player and drummer out for a rockabilly trio segment. They rocked through "Fishnet Stockings", "Blue Christmas" and more.
