19 year old Jerry Lee Lewis records first demos at Sun in 1956
Wild man Jerry Lee Lewis (then only 19 years old) arrives at Sun Studios hoping for an audition with Sam Phillips this day in 1956. Sam was away on vacation but Jerry Lee records some demos for Sam to hear later. Not long after "The Killer" at the piano was unleashed. Here he is doing his classic "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On"...
