Charlie Feathers died this day in 1998
Charlie Feathers passed away this day in 1998 in a Memphis Hospital at the age of 66. He wrote one of Elvis' early hits "I Forgot To Remember To Forget". He also recorded on labels such as Sun, Meteor and King to name a few. His raw rockabilly sound came through in signature songs like "One Hand Loose", "Bottle To The Baby", "Stutterin' Cindy" and "Jungle Fever".
